This has quickly become one of our–and our friends’–favorite cocktails. The light blue/purple color is very refreshing and the Crème de Violette has such a welcome floral essence, you really feel like you’re drinking something exotic with an Aviation. But don’t worry, it’s a relatively simple cocktail to make. Only hurdle is finding Crème de Violette, but with light encouragement we’ve convinced several local liquor stores and even a restaurant or two to carry it. Our favorite is Rothman & Winter. Enjoy!
